The 3-d Blueray Disc Player: Not Long Now and You'll be Able to Get Your Hands On One

It seems only yesterday that Bluray dvd players showed up on the market to give us those fabulous Hi-def imagery from a Disc and currently here we stand on the brink of the next big craze, 3D Blu Ray dvd players.

The approaching three dimension revolution should rely greatly on additional factors than just 3d lcd tvs, for example transcoding the very best 3D films on disk and of cause a bluray 3-d Disc player to play them on, if it is to keep enough momentum to see it through the initial launch stages.

Though all of the signs are decent and the market study points to consumers having the appetite for 3D in the home, It is gonna take more than a big showy launch and many PR men telling us that this really is what we need to make this technology mainstream. What people hanker after is content, not for the most part any old animated picture getting the three dimension works on it but the most important films, action movies, drama and costume productions offering people the most effective 3-d films on Disc.

All the racket may be coming from the consumer electronics firms, talk of how great their latest offerings are, what they could bring and when they will hit the stores except for  me the large producers have to get a little more vocal and start telling us what we are going to be able to view on our 72 inch massive 3d tv systems. Disney have promised a three dimension version of  the traditional A Christmas Carol and Samsung and Dreamworks have struck a contract to replicate a quantity of content in three dimension through Technicolor.

A large aspect has to be if these providers can get even near to the 3-d movies experience film goers are getting at present from the likes of Bolt an animated film shot in 3D, Up and Avatar. A good pointer and maybe a sign of how things will be are the films in the pipeline. Toy Story 3 and Shrek goes Forth are being mentioned to be released in three dimension and big films receiving the 3-d make-over are Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and Chicken Little.

Such films will not be alone as I presume an increasing number of directors would love to join James Cameron and jump on board if Hollywood commits entirely to the features. When it does you can be confident the complete cinema experience will be to be had in your own home.

Additional latest releases that will be being filmed in three dimension and all set for a 2010 issue are Beauty and the Beast, Oobermind, Despicable Me, Tron 2 and Hubble 3-d, all of which will eventually make it onto DVD. However will these make you dash out and get the newest Blu-ray Disc player in the end those shall be the top 3-d movies on Disk to be had.
